Common Ragwort {Senecio jacobaea} growing in a field. This plant is poisonous to livestock but can be an important food source for a variety of invertebrates. It is a native species to the UK, but commonly quoted as being an invasive foreign species. This arrises from confusion with Oxford Ragwort {Senecio squalidus}. Derbyshire, UK. August.
