Toothwort / Corpse Flower {Lathraea squamaria} flowering under an ancient hazel tree. This species has no chlorophyll and parasitises trees including hazel. The flower spike is the only part of the plant that appears above ground. Peak District National Park, Derbyshire, UK. April.
