Sea Spider (Ammothea hilgendorfi). This sepcies was first observed in the UK in 1978 in Southampton Water. The species is thought to have been introduced from Japan, originating in the tropical and temperate North Pacific littoral zone of south-east Asia. Photographed against a white background in mobile field studio. Dorset, UK. May.
