Three nest pots of the Heath Potter Wasp (Eumenes coarctatus). Each pot is built with moist clay, taking on average 1.5-3 hours. After laying a single egg in the pot, the female stocks the interior with caterpillars that she has stung and collected from the surrounded heathland.
