Danish Scurvy Grass (Cochlearia danica) growing along roadside. This salt tolerant (halophytic) plant originates from coastal regions and is able to grow in areas that recieve high levels of salt spray from the sea. This trait also allows the plant to survive along roadsides where salt levels are high from winter gritting.
