Bioluminescent mushrooms (Favolaschia manipularis) glowing in the rainforest night. The scene was captured with a long exposure (over 2 minutes), with a brief sweep of light with my headtorch over the background to reveal some of the forest floor for context. The bioluminescence may attract insects that help to disperse spores. Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia. October. Laowa 15mm macro lens, Canon r5
