Globular Springtail (Dicyrtomina saundersi) on dew-covered dead leaf. About 2mm in length. This species can be distinguished from the similar D. ornata by examining the antennae; in D. ornata they are the same colour their entire length, whereas in D. saundersi there is a distinct colour change at the joint of sections 2 and 3. Derbyshire, UK. October.
